The Jefferson County 4-H Club took a field trip to Texas Roadhouse on June 23. Children were encouraged to create a masterpiece using bread dough and cookie cutters. Participants were taught what ingredients are used to make the dough, which was then baked in the restaurant’s kitchen. 4-H members, along with Cloverbuds, toured the kitchen, learning about various cuts of meat. Club members and their parents enjoyed the bread creations with their lunch. Those taking part in the visit included, from left, Rhonda Pethel, Emma Slyder and River Bonecutter.
