The Starkdale Presbyterian Women held a baby shower for the mothers who are staying in the Mother of Mercy Maternity Home, owned by the nonprofit agency the AIM Women’s Center. The women at the church collected items that will be given to the mothers who are residing in the organization’s newest house, which provides a safe space for pregnant women or women who have recently had a baby. In addition to clothing, the church group purchased diapers, baby wipes, bottles, tote bags and other accessories.
