WINTERSVILLE — The Upper Ohio Valley Camera Club held its June contest to the theme “Silhouette.” Top finishers in the theme category included, Michelle Stevens, first place; Matt Morrison, second place; and Karen Felix, third place.

The open category winners included John Hanish, first place; Jenny Riegler, second place; and Andy Tindor and Michelle Stevens, a tie for third place.

In the special effects category, winners were: Hanish, first place; Lisa Carte, second place; and Sharon Slokan, third place.

The camera club welcomes anyone who has an interest in photography to attend one of the group’s meetings. Whether you are using a camera or a cell phone to take photos, everyone is welcome to attend, according to Hanish.

The club’s next meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Two Ridges Presbyterian Church, located at 1085 Canton Road in Wintersville. The club meets on the lower level of the church in the social hall.
