The Weirton Steel 25-Year Club will hold its annual summer picnic July 12 at the Serbian Picnic Grounds in Weirton. The club, which has been in existence for more than 75 years, was presented a contribution from First Choice America Credit Union. This year’s picnic is for employees and retirees of the former Weirton Steel Corp./Arcelor Mittal plant who have 25 years of service, and active employees of Cleveland Cliffs. Club members include from left, front, Ernie Nicholas Jr., Kathy Bailey, Brenda Ice, Alan Carroll, Dan Kelly and David Dulaney; and back, First Choice board members John Thayer, Kenneth Truax, 25-Year Club President Ron Baker, First Choice America President and board chairman Scott Winwood, and First Choice board members Thomas Thayer and Edward Kennedy.
