Gospel Night coming to Berkman amphitheater
STEUBENVILLE — The spirit of praise and unity will soon fill the air at the Louis Berkman Amphitheater.
Officials have announced they are preparing for the “highly-anticipated” Gospel Night concert, as held in years past.
Presented by the Sycamore Youth Center, the event is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.
The free concert promises to be “an evening of uplifting music, dynamic worship and powerful performances” from a wide range of local talent, according to Bobbyjon Bauman, executive director of the Sycamore Youth Center.
This year’s lineup will include a variety of performances from individuals and groups throughout the area.
Among those planning to participate are Destiny Angelucci, the Refocus Church Worship Team, the Impact Church Praise Team, Chelsea Householder, Bella Thompson, Evan Conn, the Infinite Praise Mime Team with Sister Arletta Reed, Kaleb Kibble, IchThUS, the Mighty Disciples Mime Team, the Next Level Community Choir, Alexandra Kaine, the DFE Rising Stars Dance Team, the Folkloric Dance Ensemble, Lynzee Ensell, Emma Fradd, Jennifer Krause, the Friends Vocal Group and the Apostolic Faith Temple Choir.
Bauman shared his excitement about the upcoming event.
“Gospel Night is a beautiful opportunity for our community to come together in celebration and worship,” he began. “We are thrilled to provide a platform for so many gifted individuals and groups to share their talents and faith with others.”
“This event is about more than music — it’s about lifting hearts, encouraging unity and shining a light in our city,” Bauman stated.
Attendees are asked to bring a lawn chair or blanket and arrive early for the best seating.
All ages are welcome, including churches and families.
