JVS helps Toronto

Electrical trades students at Jefferson County Joint Vocational School strung new lights on Christmas decorations for a new project being done in Toronto. Instructor Buddy Davis said his students are updating 43 lights that will adorn the Gem City’s street posts. Plans are to have the lights ready in time for the upcoming holiday season. The electrical trades program has completed similar projects for local towns and villages, including Adena, Amsterdam, Hopedale and New Alexandria. Those taking part in the project include, seniors Tim Mihalyo and Hayden Boyce.
