Edison attends Leadership Day

Edison High School students traveled to the Pennsylvania Air National Guard’s 171st Air Refueling Wing at Pittsburgh International Airport as part of the All-Star Leadership Day Nov. 6. Guidance Counselor Karen Crawford explained students completed a pre-flight checklist scavenger hunt, met airmen, toured a C-17 and KC-135 aircraft, participated in challenges, conducted leadership and teamwork exercises and viewed an F-16 demo flight. Students ranged from sophomores to seniors, showing leadership skills in academics, athletics, extracurricular activities and the College Credit Plus program.
