A library book pumpkin
Gus Smithhisler, who has earned the nickname “Squashcarver,” demonstrated pumpkin carving and shared tips for decorative displays during his program before an audience at the Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County’s Schiappa library branch. Smithhisler carved two library books into the pumpkin he used during his program. Professionally, Smithhisler carves giant-sized pumpkins in various locations throughout the United States. He has appeared on Season 6 of “Halloween Wars,” shown on the Food Network.
