Jefferson and Harrison County 4-H Shooting Sports partnered with Island Creek Shooting Clays on Saturday for a special hunter safety course. The class, which included 14 children and five adults, was taught by Bob Hickel and Caity Romshak, Harrison County 4-H educator. Another in-person hunter safety course will be offered in the spring. Those interested in participating can call Leslie Aftanas, coordinator of Jefferson County Shooting Sports, at (740) 264-2212.
