WEIRTON -- The First Christian Church Disciples Women's Fellowship will hold a Mother's Day event entitled "Hats Off to Mom," at 6:30 p.m. May 16 at the church.
The monologue will be presented by Connie Norwood. The group's service project "Helping Women," involves collecting items including towels, wash cloths, bath liquid and loofah sponges for the women at Weirton Safe House. Monetary donations should be given to Norwood by May 12. Those interested in attending should RSVP to President Janet Rymer or Secretary Karen Blanc.
