WHEELING -- The Thursday Music Club Chorus will perform its annual spring concert at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Elm Grove United Methodist Church sanctuary, located at 125 Kruger St. in Wheeling. The program is under the direction of Anita Chops and accompanist Debbie Breiding. The show's theme will be "Not Getting Older, Just Getting Better."
Officials commented the chorus is performing some very exciting songs, opening the show with "Happily Ever After," by MacHuff, a Disney Celebration for Women's Voices. This medley will feature many women soloists. Additional song includes "When I'm Sixty-Four," a Chiffons' medley by Mark Brymer, and "Music in My Mother's House," by Stuart Stotts.
"This group of ladies really enjoy getting together and putting on a fun show," concert officials noted. "We have soloists within the group that will be featured. We are very fortunate to have our media specialist at the church, Scott Beresh, to help us sound our best. Everyone is welcome."
