The John "Wiz" Fabian Childrens' Easter Egg Hunt was held at the Mingo Knights of Columbus Hall. Officials had prepared to hold the event outdoors, but rain and cold temperatures led to moving the egg hunt inside the hall. Officials thanked everyone who attended the Easter activity. Special thanks was given to Fabian's children, John Scott Fabian and Jay Fabian, for making a donation toward the party in memory of their father. It was noted their father always enjoyed sponsoring the childrens' event. There were 93 children in attendance. Officials thanked members for doing their part to help during the event, including Mike Potenizini, Scott Fabian, Jay Fabian, Arron Fabian, Keith Crispino, Chuck Dickey, Wayne Parks and Don Temple, and Mayor Judy Ruckman for stopping by to watch the egg hunt. Thanks were also given to the following: Darrin Corrigan, for preparing the park for use; Ashley Close, Mingo Junction policewoman, for keeping those at the event safe; and the Easter Bunny for making an appearance during his busy schedule.
