The Upper Ohio Valley Camera Club announced the top-place finishers in its Jan. 16 winter-themed competition. Theme category finishers included, Sam Rees, first place; Sharon Slokan, second place; and John Hanish, third place. Open category finishers were, Karen Felix, first place; Rees, second place; and Hanish, third place. Special effects category finishers were, Tami Hosterman and Barb Momyer, first place; Felix, second place; and Andy Tindor, third place. The club welcomes those with an interest in photography to attend its meetings. Whether one uses a camera or a cell phone to take photos, all are encouraged to attend the next meeting, set for 7 p.m. Feb. 6 in the lower-level social hall of Two Ridges Presbyterian Church, located at 1085 Canton Road in Wintersville.
