Members of the La Bonne Vie Chapter of the Red Hat Society met at Scaffidi’s Restaurant Dec. 21 for their annual Christmas party. The hostess winners were, Theresa LaMantia, Cindy Misogiane, Joyce Parrish, Kathi Harding, Vicki Nurczyk and Filomena DiCarlantonio. Each member brought a gift card to be donated to the Friendship Room. Entertainment was provided by Dave Watkins. The evening’s highlight was when those in attendance honored Queen Mum Jane Aldridge, the group’s founder and leader during the past 20 years. Aldridge was presented with a gift and cards as a thank-you for all she has done for the chapter. It was announced Aldridge is stepping down from her position as Queen Mum and Vicki Nurczyk and Theresa LaMantia will lead the chapter as co-Queen Mums for 2024.
