Individuals perused free winter coats as volunteers looked on during the Sycamore Youth Center's Operation Warm program held Friday. The center distributed approximately $8,000 worth of coats, shoes, backpacks and fleece blankets through the nationwide nonprofit project, Operation Warm. Bobbyjon Bauman, president of the youth center, stated 132 coats and 132 pairs of shoes were given away, along with 50 "giving bags" filled with toiletries.
