Student Representatives to the Edison Local Board of Education were officially sworn in at the August school board meeting at Edison High School. Seven students were chosen from a pool of applicants to serve a one-year term for the 2023-24 school year. Students taking part at the August meeting with Edison board members, include from left, front, Gavin Berardinelli, sixth grade, John Gregg Elementary; Katie Phillips, 11th grade, Edison High; Rilee Givens, 10th grade, Edison High; and Audrina Reese, ninth grade, Edison High; and back, Anna Ault, Matt Bordash, Josh McConnell, Aaron Richardson and Ron Smyth. Other representatives from the district are: Jaxon Sciance, fifth grade, Stanton Elementary; Dara Collopy, seventh grade, Edison Junior High; and Amelia Ault, eighth-grade, Edison Junior High. — Contributed
