PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. -- The following local students have completed requirements for graduation from Indiana University of Pennsylvania's Academy of Culinary Arts, including a four-month paid externship: Jason Burchfield of Weirton, son of Theresa Burchfield and Jon Burchfield, graduate of Brooke High School, completed an externship at Nemacolin Woodlands in Farmington, Pa., and Samantha Swidowski of Weirton, daughter of Vanessa Swidowski, graduate of Weir High School, received an award for perfect attendance and was on the high honors dean's list while at the academy. She completed an externship at Nemacolin Woodlands.
