First Choice America Credit Union made a contribution to the Ron "Fritz" Williams Golf Scramble to take place at Mountaineer's Woodview Golf Course Saturday. The outing pays tribute to the late All-American basketball player who attended Weir High School and West Virginia University and who was a No. 1 draft pick in the NBA. All proceeds from the tournament benefit the Fritz Williams Scholarship Fund. Those on hand for the presentation included from left, William Zimmerman, youth leader and golf committee member; Holly Zimmerman, golf committee secretary; Keith Howard, recipient's grandfather; Elijah Anderson, scholarship recipient; William Currenton, golf committee chairman; Scott Winwood, First Choice America chief executive officer and board member; Damarr Turner, scholarship recipient; Janai Turner, recipient's sister; and Marcus Turner, recipient's father.
