These are some candids taken Wednesday during former area resident Jeffrey Hatcher's visit to the area to be part of the Herald-Star Speaker Series, Presented by Eastern Gateway Community College.
The playwright and screenwriter mingled with guests during a VIP reception held at the Gaslite in Wintersville, then gave his presentation in the auditorium of the new Indian Creek High School, sharing excerpts from plays that were inspired by things he heard about or experienced while in the Ohio Valley.
