The Steubenville American Legion Post 33 Auxiliary Unit celebrated Memorial Day by placing a wreath in the Ohio River to honor deceased veterans. Cindy Longwell, auxiliary president, placed the wreath in the river. On hand for the presentation were, from left, front, auxiliary Secretary Glenna Kennedy and Dorothy Mazik, and back, Liz Smith, Betty Isaly, Susan Fisher, Longwell, second Vice President Heather Casey-Vandeborne and first Vice President Dallas Conner. Legion representatives also attended.
