Opa!

Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church of Steubenville's 35th-annual Greek Fest continues today from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., wrapping up the last of the three-day celebration of Greek food, heritage, dancing and music.

What a treat and relief to see a return to some normalcy with people out enjoying themselves and this special area tradition. Photos on today's community page were taken during my visits to the festival Wednesday.

While there's much to be savored at the Greek Festival, there are other activities in downtown Steubenville under way as part of the Dean Martin Hometown Celebration going on through Saturday.

There will be street parties with lots of live music, food and vendors in the 200 block of South Fourth Street today and Saturday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a car cruise-in from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the corner of South Fourth and South streets.

There will be Dean Martin tribute shows at the Spot Bar today and Saturday at 9 p.m., with a $10 cover charge.

The Jefferson County Historical Association Museum at 426 Frank Ave., Steubenville, meanwhile, will be open to visitors today from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with free trolley rides running to the museum from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Pickup is at the corner of South Fourth and Adams streets. The Dean Martin Room on the museum's second floor is something special to see.

And visits to Historic Fort Steuben never disappoint with tours available today and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Starting at /week.
