ADK Beta Alpha Chapter

members holds Zoom meeting

STEUBENVILLE — The Beta Alpha Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa Teaching Sorority met virtually on Jan. 5 through Zoom.

Fourteen members were in attendance, including state President Susan Nolan and a member of Beta Epsilon Chapter. President Linda Lenzi presided.

Secretary Joyce Cammilletti called the roll and read the minutes of the last meeting. Treasurer Erin DeSantis gave her report. Members were asked to mail money for this month’s altruistic project — Coats for Kids — to DeSantis.

Nolan presented ideas for Zoom speakers for upcoming meetings. Lenzi will work with her on this project.

Sharon Patterson, scholarship chairman, has sent scholarship application forms to local schools. The members present discussed possible ways-and-means projects and generally agreed to wait until fall to pursue such projects because of the pandemic situation.

The next meeting will be held through Zoom on Feb. 2, beginning at 6 p.m.
