Contributed RECOGNIZED — Members of the Moran family were honored at the 2024 Window World Family Reunion.

YOUNGSTOWN — The Moran family, owners of six Window World franchise locations in the region, received the Store of the Year Award from Window World Inc. at the 2024 Window World Family Reunion held in August in Orlando, Fla.

For the first time in the history of the award, the family was honored for not one but four of its six locations: Youngstown, Pittsburgh, Upper Ohio Valley and Toledo.

The Moran family was represented by owners Fred Moran, Pat Moran, Angie Moran, Patrick Moran and Mandi (Moran) Fluck. The award was presented by Steve Kamody, president of Window World Inc.; Tammy Whitworth, owner of Window World Inc.; and the board of directors.

The Moran group’s Window World locations were selected from more than 220 franchises across the United States. Selection criteria included growth, success and a commitment to Window World’s core values of customer satisfaction.

The Window World Family Reunion is a biennial event held in Orlando, where all 220 locations gather to celebrate achievements, engage in learning opportunities and honor those who go above and beyond. This includes recognizing outstanding office personnel and design consultants.

In addition to the Store of the Year awards, the Moran family received the Best Commercial award for their latest advertisement featuring the Moran family themselves.
