BUSINESS AFTER HOURS: The Wellsburg Chamber of Commerce has announced two business after hours events.

First National Bank will sponsor the first, to be held at 5:30 p.m. March 22, at the Crooked Dock restaurant at 30 12th St.

The other will be held at 5:30 p.m. April 3 at the Brooke County Family Support Center on the second floor of the former Wellsburg Middle School.

Those attending the second event are asked to bring Easter candy for the families served by the center, which is operated by the Brooke-Hancock Family Resource Network.

SCREENINGS OFFERED: WVU Medicine Barnesville Hospital and Harrison Community Hospital are offering general health screenings on the second Tuesday of each month.

Appointments are available once a month from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The following discounted lab tests are available:

• Vitamin D, $20;

• Glycohemoglobin, $15;

• PSA, $10; and

• General health panel (includes CMP, CBC, TSH and lipid panel), $40.
