Quick Takes
PROMOTED: James Lash has been promoted to associate broker at Cedar One Realty.
Lash has been with Cedar One since May 2017, starting as a marketing and accounting intern for Cedar One Realty, Steel Valley Contracting and GoGo Handyman.
That experience led him to become a licensed real estate agent. He took real estate classes through Hondros School of Business in the fall of 2017, and became licensed in December. He received his auctioneer license in June 2021 and his broker’s license earlier this month.
“When I am not selling real estate or doing sales you can find me doing my favorite things — shopping, watching TV, going on long drives or eating. My favorite things are business, cars, firearms, law, real estate and politics,” Lash explained.
You can reach him in the Wintersville office at (740) 264-7131, extension 115; on his cell at (740) 461-4181; or at jtlash1023@gmail.com.
NEW REHAB DIRECTOR: Jason Florence has joined WVU Medicine Barnesville Hospital and Harrison Community Hospital as the new rehabilitation director. He has more than 22 years of experience as a physical therapist, including 18 years in management roles in outpatient, skilled and acute care settings.
Florence received a bachelor of science degree in exercise physiology/biology from Ohio University and his master’s in physical therapy from Wheeling Jesuit University.
Florence currently resides in Harrisville with his wife and three children on their horse farm. When he’s not working, he enjoys watching his children perform in shows and athletic events. His hobbies consist of fishing, outdoor activities, watching college football and Major League Baseball, and spending time with his children playing a game of catch.
