WEIRTON – With modern technology, information can be accessed from pretty much anywhere, and today’s businesses can take advantage of that with the development of their own mobile applications.
Those looking to market themselves or their business through a smart phone app don’t have to look very far.
Mobilize 360, 3137 Pennsylvania Ave., is owned and operated by Jake Young, a Pennsylvania native who came to Weirton approximately five years ago.
“We’re a mobile app development company,” Young said, noting his firm also provides services in website development, social media marketing and graphic design.
Formats for the mobile applications include iOS, Android and mobile websites, with the possibility of features to include push notifications, mobile ordering, reservation systems, coupons, customer loyalty programs and more.
Mobilize 360 also can develop apps specific to the type of business, helping to draw attention to products.
“I have a passion for small businesses,” Young said, explaining he designs the apps in a way to encourage growth for his clients. “We’re affordable and we’re local.”
Among the apps designed for local businesses and organizations are Lyle’s Auto, Weirton Medical Center, the Weirton Area Chamber of Commerce, the Business Development Corp. of the Northern Panhandle, Robinson and Son Construction, Sanctified Spa, Weir High School football, Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, Quick Fit, Hood’s Pharmacy, Lauttamus Communications, Steel Valley Regional Transit, as well as Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown.
Young noted he is gaining clients in the Pittsburgh market, as well as in Cleveland and New Jersey.
