To earn the Good Housekeeping Seal, LeafGuard underwent stringent testing by the Good Housekeeping Institute, the consumer product evaluation laboratory of Good Housekeeping magazine, officials said.

LeafGuard was evaluated for six weeks in the laboratory by the Institute to ensure the LeafGuard system met consumer expectations and performed as promised. The technicians tested all features of strength, quality and durability.

The patented design makes all the difference, officials said. It has a built-in hood that covers the gutter bottom and deflects leaves and other debris. LeafGuard gutters are designed to attach to the fascia board of a house – not the roof like ordinary gutters – eliminating leaks and roof damage. The gutter is custom made onsite for each home; installers are employed by the company, and the gutters can handle 32 inches of rainfall an hour.
