STEUBENVILLE POLICE
Biker down: A man laying on the sidewalk in the 2100 block of Sunset Boulevard told police he tried to ride his bike onto the sidewalk "but the tire got caught...and he fell off" Wednesday. He requested an ambulance to take him to the hospital.
Scary stuff: A "disoriented and confused" driver going the wrong way on State Route 7 was taken to the hospital Tuesday. Firefighters who evaluated him told police he "did appear confused and had not answered questions correctly, including the year and the current president."
Add-ons: A resident who'd been to a adult club in Pittsburgh complained Tuesday he was hit with nearly $2,000 worth of charges on his debit card after he left the establishment. Police told him he'd have to file a report in Pittsburgh.
Family feuding: A resident in the 1200 block of Lincoln Avenue told police family members "were outside her residence yelling at her" and threatened to assault her Tuesday. She told police her sister was upset because she'd turned the electricity to a garage her son was renting. Police said the sister was irate, and allege she told the caller to "come into the street so they could fight," refused to stop yelling and repeatedly threatened her in their presence. Sandra L. Hanlin, 1014 McKinley Ave., Steubenville, was charged with disorderly conduct.
At odds: A couple in the 1400 block of Euclid told police they'd been arguing Tuesday. Each of them accused the other of getting physical, but police said they couldn't see anything to prove anyone had actually been struck. The male agreed to leave for the evening.
Charged: Tony L. Oaks, 46, 1406 Oregon Ave., Steubenville, criminal trespass. Employees at the midtown Speedway told police they'd asked him several times to leave the property and he refused.
Charged: Jason Sorrentino, 42m 631 Oakmont Ave., Steubenville, theft. Employees at Walmart allege Sorrentino tried to leave the store with more than $130 in merchandise concealed in his backpack.

Sinsel, 23, 119 ½ N. 5th St., Toronto, Ty L. Parrish, 20, 71 Villa Dr., Wintersville; and Kumar R. Patel, 59, Mars, Pa., speeding (school zone); Ireland B. McCartney, 26, 641 Main St., Follansbee, no operator's license and expired registration.
