Recurring problem: A woman was causing a disturbance on 5th Street at Logan Avenue, but left the area before police could get there, Thursday. Later in the day the same woman was at 5th and Washington streets “yelling at vehicles” and police had to tell her to stop. While talking with her police said they noticed an open container of alcohol in her possession and warned her it’s not permitted, and they poured it out. They said she left the scene on foot.
Issues: A city resident wanted to talk with police because she’s convinced the FBI “has been following her and she is fearful that they will attempt to kill her,” Thursday. Police said she was able to correctly answer questions they posed of her and told them she “only wanted the incident to be documented.” She didn’t want any other help, police said.
Ex with feelings: A man who had been walking with a female said he saw her ex following him in his car, Thursday and when he got to Lincoln Avenue at Lincoln Boulevard jumped out of his car “and began chasing him with a stick,” Thursday. He said the man fled when he saw him calling 9-1-1.

Crowd control: Police were called to the 700 block of Market Street because of “a large crowd causing a disturbance,” Friday. Upon arriving at the scene an officer reported three separate crowds and advised all to keep the noise down. Police said all appeared to be in order, so they left.
Inconsiderate: A caller reported a loud radio in the 700 block of Oakmont Avenue, Thursday. Police said they could hear it from the cruiser from about 100 yards away, so they asked the “large crowd of (men) who were standing near the vehicle” to turn it down, which they did “briefly.” As the officer began to leave he said someone turned it back on so he went back and reminded them they need to be respectful of other people living in the area. The group also was warned if police have to return there would be citations issued.
Problem drinking: A disturbance was reported in the 500 block of Ross Street, Thursday. Police said the couple told them they’d been arguing over his drinking, but they calmed down while officers were on the scene and the man ended up apologizing. The two were told to stay away from each other until they were ready to talk.

Not listening: A homeowner in the 100 block of Wildon Avenue, said juveniles were on his porch again, Thursday. Police said when they pulled up several kids between the ages of 6 and 10 were still on the sidewalk, so after identifying them, police reminded them they’d been told to stay off the property.
