Facing danger: A S. 4th Street resident complained that a male had “thrown a loaf of bread and hit her with it” during an argument, Sunday. She said the bread “hit (her) in the face” and wanted the male removed from the property, but police told her he’d established residency and would have to be evicted. The male did admit he was upset and threw the bread but denied hitting her. He left for the night with a family member.
Police were asked to remove a woman who was staying in the basement of a property in the 400 block of N. 4th Street, Monday. She told them she’d been invited in the building by her friend, but police told her she still needed to leave “as she did not live there and no ‘friends’ were around.”
Yard crasher: A Brady Avenue resident reported someone “laying in the backyard acting suspiciously,” Sunday. Police checked the area but didn’t find anything amiss.
Arguing: Police said two males causing a disturbance in the 300 block of Summit Avenue were arguing over ginger ale, Monday.

She said her former boss was “routinely inappropriate” with her, touching her and trying to kiss her but she’d never reported it, but now a female apparently familiar with the situation is texting her vulgar comments asking if he “knows you are a cheating” individual.
Neighborhood nuisance: A resident in the 200 block of 3rd St., Yorkville, complained that the owner of a vacant property next door is refusing to clean it up, April 6. The homeowner said trash from the man’s property keeps blowing into other yards.
