Creating chaos: A woman claimed her brother “punched her in the face as hard as he could” during an argument with him and their parents but police said she had no visible wounds or redness, Wednesday. Police said the woman had “difficulty balancing,” and her brother told them she showed up “intoxicated and acting belligerent.” He said his parents had their grandchildren there but his sister “continued screaming and cursing and causing chaos in the home” and was told several times but refused, “persisting in her behavior” so he grabbed her feet and dragged her out of the house and onto the front porch. He denied striking her, and police said his hands and knuckles showed no signs of having been in a fight. The parents confirmed their daughter had caused the disturbance and they didn’t want her there.
On the rocks: A woman “who appeared to be crying” told police her boyfriend forced her out of the apartment during an argument, Wednesday. She said he “hit her in the mouth and shoved her by the throat, though police said she didn’t have any obvious injuries. They said she was “gathering belongings that were outside the apartment in the hallway” and said she’s stayed there “on and off” the past three years. Her boyfriend spoke “briefly” with police, confirming they’d argued but refusing to go into detail, and said the woman “needed to leave.” The female initially wanted to pursue charges but changed her mind, telling police she “just wanted to leave for the night.” Her boyfriend refused to open his door again.
Hungry man: Employees at Kroger gave police video of a man who stuffed meat products into his coat and fled the store twice in three weeks, Wednesday. On Feb. 5 they said the man walked through the meat section selecting products valued at $48, then walked to a less busy area where he loaded them into his coat. They said on Feb. 21 he did the same thing, but walked out of the store with $71 in merchandise he hadn’t paid for.
Cleaning up: Kroger employees told police a man left the store Feb. 20 with a shopping cart filled with cleaning products he hadn’t paid for. They said the items were valued at $100.

Dispute: A resident living along township Road 246, reported fighting with a neighbor and wanted him removed from the property, Tuesday. When deputies told him he’d need to evict man since he had established residency, he threatened to “just shoot (him) in the face.” The woman who’d rented the property said the caller had no business telling anyone to leave and told deputies she’d been at work but she’d heard there was “some sort of altercation” between him and a man she let stay on the property in exchange doing odd jobs. She said the handyman had been drinking and she’d already told him it was to stop. The handyman said he’d been riding the caller’s new ATV when the caller “started screaming at him and calling him names, saying he broke it.” He claimed the caller called him a drunk “and punched him, knocking him to the ground” where they wrestled, somehow ending up in the house where the caller “grabbed a frying pan and started hitting him with it.” The caller said the handyman had ridden his ATV “way too hard” and ended up rolled it over, breaking it, so he referred to him by a denigrating term and reminded him it wouldn’t be broken if he’d gotten off when he was asked to. The caller claimed the handyman “charged at him, tackling him and putting him in a headlock” so he grabbed him, then ran into the house. He claimed the handyman followed him into the house and ended up punching him in the nose, pushing his way into the kitchen so they rolled around on the floor, where he eventually grabbed the frying pan and “started hitting him to get him off.”
Suspicious: A woman reported finding two suspicious people at her door in the Toronto area, Wednesday. The homeowner told deputies the male and woman said they were “selling windows,” but she saw the woman run her hands down the side of the door and considered that “a red flag.” There was no vehicle in the area when deputies arrived.
