West Virginia State Police
Charged: Lisa E. Green, 39, Apartment H7, Blue Ridge Manor, Wellsburg, possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence and while suspended, no operator's license or proof of insurance, expired inspection and defective equipment, Monday.
Steubenville Police
Drugs: A woman apparently overdosed in the 1300 block of Ridge Avenue, Monday. An officer administered Naloxone and when Steubenville EMS arrived, they were able to revive the woman, who was found with a bag of suspected crack cocaine and a crack pipe in plain sight. She was issued a drug treatment form and taken to the hospital for treatment.
Bumbling: A motorist in the 1500 block of Maryland Avenue said an intoxicated male had stumbled into his vehicle and was wandering through the area, Monday. An officer looked for the man, but he was gone.
Hearing things: A caller reported hearing shots fired in the vicinity of Lawson Avenue, but when police responded "multiple subjects" told them they hadn't heard anything, Monday. Police said they checked Lawson all the way to Belleview Boulevard as well as the South Bend area, where the caller resides.
Overindulged: An unresponsive male was found on a front porch in the 400 block of Ross Street, Tuesday. Police said the male was semi-responsive and told them he'd been drinking but refused medical attention. The homeowner allowed him to spend the night in the home.
Code issues: Notices of violation were sent to owners/occupants of properties at 1304 Belleview Blvd., 1309 Arlington Ave., and 1333 Arlington Ave., all for high grass/weeds. Also, 329 S. Fourth St., wood pallets and other junk piled in rear; 239 S. Fifth St., litter and junk in rear; S. 5th St., litter piled in rear and high grass/weeds.
Cited: Erika Conkle, 25, 1485 Kings Creek Road, Weirton, failure to control after her car traveled off the roadway in the 900 block of Adams Street and struck a fence, then continued along a concrete wall. Police said the fence was heavily damaged. Also cited: Julia G. Anderson, 20, Kenai, Ark., speeding (school zone); Holly Arajakis, 49, 2600 Alvarado Blvd., Steubenville, speeding.

Uncomfortable: A woman mowing grass at the park in Irondale said a woman was videotaping her mowing, Monday. Deputies pointed out that shooting videos is protected by the First Amendment. Later, she reported a male doing the same thing but said he was "making a gesture with his finger ... as if it were a gun." Coincidentally, deputies were told by another individual that someone had vandalized a new sign stating the park is closed when it's being mowed that had put up for the public's safety.
Illegal: Someone in a white Dodge Caravan dumped a table and nightstand at the JB Green Team Aquinas site (Lovers Lane), April 24.
Didn't pay: A driver at the wheel of a white pickup truck left the Smith Oil station on Canton Road without paying for $30 in gas, Monday.
Booked: Jared Anthony Holland, 146 Liberty St., Dillonvale, warrant out of Fairfield County, Monday; Rachel Marie Veil, 36, 147 Parkview Drive, Wintersville, warrant out of Toronto county court, Tuesday; and Ashley N. Dicola, 34, 563 N. 5th St., Toronto, probation violation, Tuesday.
