Trouble: Police said several small fights and disturbances in the vicinity of Hollywood Boulevard broke out among large groups of "local juveniles" after the football game, Friday. Police and school staff patrolled the areas heavily and dispersed several crowds and groups of juveniles, officers said.
Things going bump: A North Sixth Street resident told police someone in an apartment above her "was moving furniture all night and it was affecting her health," Friday. The upstairs resident said she was asleep.
Down and out: Callers reported a woman asleep on a property in the 300 block of North Fifth St., Friday. Police told her she needed to gather her belongings and vacate the property, which she did.
Stolen: Police identified a woman who walked out of Kroger Aug. 27 with $300 of merchandise she didn't scan, Friday. They said the woman went to the self-scan and bagged the items before fleeing the store. Police said the items she stole weren't food related.
Party crasher: A Sherman Avenue resident told police a man was upset when he tried to crash a backyard get-together she was hosting and she told him he wasn't welcome, Friday. She said they argued and while there was no physical altercation, threats of physical harm were exchanged between them.They were advised to stay away from each other for the remainder of the night.
Seeing red: A woman in the 900 block of North Seventh Street told police an older male has been following her to the store in his red car, Friday. The man told police he goes downtown because he takes care of an elderly man living on North Fourth Street.
Bad behavior: A caller reported a group of juveniles have been seen kicking in a door at a property in the 100 block of Brady Circle on their way to and from school, Friday.
Complaints: A Braybarton Boulevard resident with two unlicensed, non-working vehicles in his driveway was issued a 10 day notice for outside storage of unlicensed vehicles. Police following up on another complaint on Braybarton Boulevard report two cars parked in the driveway were registered and in working order.
Cited: A juvenile was ticketed for failure to yield after a two-car accident on Sunset Boulevard at Langley, Friday. Witnesses and the other driver said the youthful driver ran the stop sign, police said.
Cited: Christopher Clapham, 47, 329 Sarah Blvd., Toronto, expired/unlawful plates. Clapham also was told he must show the judge proof he has a prescription for two buprenorphine pills found in his car.
Strained relation: A city resident told police responding to reports of a fight at a Kendall Avenue resident he'd been arguing with his girlfriend's mom over a birthday cake for the girlfriend's son, Friday. His girlfriend said nothing physical had happened.
