Bad vibe: A Toronto father told deputies his son was trying to break into his house and had threatened him, Tuesday. He said he'd been letting the son stay in a camper he owns because of a family situation but said it's unlivable so he locked him out of it, angering his son who he said tried to break into the main house. He told deputies his son was armed with a hunting knife and had threatened to kill him with it. Deputies said they spotted blood droplets on the porch and found the knife in the camper where the son had been staying. He told deputies he wants to press charges.
Truth be told: Deputies investigated a suspicious vehicle at the Trilliam Trail entrance to O.D.H.R. Horseman's Camp for several days with two people inside it, Sept. 22. The occupants claimed they'd had a problem with "a large Python snake supposedly entering their house" on County Road 45. The male claimed the Humane Society had told them they couldn't return home "due to this giant snake that no one can seem to find," deputies noted. They said they've been spending the day at the park, leaving at night and returning each morning, and said they can't find another place to live because landlords won't allow their two large dogs in their rental properties. After speaking with them, the deputy noted it's more likely they were evicted and advised them of agencies that could help them find a new place. The female said they're already working with public assistance and hope to get a place soon.
Snatched: An Ohio truck driver whose rig developed electrical issues left his chassis/trailer at Buch's Truck Stop two weeks ago and when he returned to get it discovered it was missing, Tuesday.

Couldn't wait: Callers complained of a male wearing dark clothing urinating on the sidewalk in front of a downtown business, Tuesday. Police spoke with a man who was across the street but he denied involvement.
Home alone: Police investigated complaints that three dogs were left in a residence in the 400 block of Spring Avenue "and the residents are never home," Tuesday. Officers said the residence appeared as if no one was living there. While attempting to remove the dogs, they said the animals ran away. They said the dogs didn't appear to be in danger nor were they aggressive. A neighbor volunteered to watch for them to return and take them in until they can be removed.
At odds: A woman in the 200 block of Cunningham Lane told police her husband wouldn't let her get her belongings out of their apartment, but he told police he didn't care what she took as long as he had an hour to get ready for work, Tuesday.
Prove it: A South Sixth Street resident told police a man keeps sending messages to her friend stating she is responsible for replacing a window in his car, Tuesday. She said the window was broken several weeks ago and the owner thinks her son did it.
Unnecessary: A Lincoln Avenue resident told police a neighbor is "continuously yelling at his children and using racial slurs toward him," Tuesday.
Struck: An individual who didn't want to be identified told police a semi had struck a utility pole in front of the Ohio Valley Honda garage, Tuesday. Officers said a phone pole between the Honda garage and Voto Sales was "damaged and leaning quite a bit." They located a semi parked in front of the building and the driver admitted he'd backed into the pole while trying to back his rig onto the Honda property.
Someone paid a pizza delivery driver with a counterfeit $20 bill, Tuesday. The driver told police he'd delivered an order to the 100 block of Water Street and the female who answered his knock seemed unaware anyone had ordered pizza. He said she walked back inside and returned minutes later with the bogus bill.
