The woman initially told police she was behind the wheel, but eventually admitted to ambulance personnel the car was registered to her but she didn’t have a valid license so when a man at a downtown gas station offered to drive her to Wellsville, she accepted his offer. Police said the woman had a cell phone in her hand when they talked to her, but they found another on the floor and a third in the glove box.
