Mr. and Mrs. Sean Smith

WINTERSVILLE — Isabella Teresa Biasi and Sean Philip Smith of Wintersville were united in marriage on Sept. 10, 2022, at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott Hotel in Coraopolis, Pa., with the Rev. Jim Caldwell officiating the 4 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Biasi of Steubenville. The groom is the son of Steve Smith of Westerville and Valerie Doan Kuruc of Bloomingdale.

The bride was escorted to the altar by her father. She wore an A-line style gown with ivory/pewter accents and beaded lace motifs over glitter tulle.

Carmela DiCarlo, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor, and Alyssa Potenzini was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lexi Biasi, Gina Biasi, Salina Biasi, and Toni Jean DiPietro, cousins of the bride; and Kaci Herrington, Mary Agresta, Brooke Hockenberry, Julia Arnold and Hannah Masloski; and bridesman Adam Dunckel.

Justin Caniff was the best man. Groomsmen were Gabe Kuruc, brother of the groom; Michael Freshwater and Austin Freshwater, cousins of the groom; Carlo Biasi, brother of the bride; Primo DiCarlo, brother-in-law of the bride; Zach Crawford, Michael Puorrro, Max Lewis and Jake DeFrank.

The reception also was held at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott Hotel. The couple are taking their honeymoon in Aruba.

The bride is a 2015 graduate of Steubenville High School. She graduated from Kent State University in 2018 with her bachelor of science degree in nutrition and dietetics. She then graduated in 2019 with her master of science degree in nutrition and dietetics. She works as a deputy clerk for the Jefferson County Probate Court.

The groom is a 2015 graduate of Indian Creek High School. He graduated from Kent State University in 2019 with a bachelor of business administration degree in computer information systems. He then graduated with a master of business administration degree in management from West Liberty University in 2021. He works for the Jefferson County Board of Developmental Disabilities as the IT Administrator.

The couple reside in Wintersville.
