Michalides — Frankovitch
WEIRTON — Kelly Lee Michalides and John Marcus Frankovitch were united in marriage on June 5, 2021, during a 1 p.m. service at Most Precious Blood of Jesus Parish in Pittsburgh.
The Rev. Canon John O’Connor officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Lee and Shelly Michalides of Johnston, Pa.
The groom is the son of Eric and Alice Frankovitch of Weirton.
The bride was escorted to the altar by her father. She wore a V-neck ivory lace gown with a full-length embroidered veil.
Ashley Rosendale, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Leeah Michalides, sister of the bride, and Nicole Edsall of Nashville. Elle Rosendale, niece of the bride, was the junior bridesmaid.
The groomsmen were the groom’s three brothers, Taylor Frankovitch, Carl Frankovitch and John Frankovitch, all from Pittsburgh.
Grant Rosendale, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer. Emma Frankovitch and Mae Frankovitch, nieces of the groom, were the flower girls.
The bride graduated from Conemaugh Township High School, Davidson, Pa., and Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
The groom graduated from Weir High School in 2001. He received a bachelor’s degree from Washington and Jefferson College and a MBA from Duquesne University.
A reception was held at Four Suns Ranch in Weirton, property of the groom’s family. The couple honeymooned in Arizona and Colorado. The couple now reside in Weirton.
