Higgins — Ford
BLOOMINGDALE — Cristeana Ruth Higgins and Ryan David Ford were united in marriage on Sept. 5, 2020, during an outdoor afternoon wedding. Officiant for the ceremony was Dana Brown.
The bride is the daughter of Kevin and Barbara Higgins of Smithfield. The groom is the son of Nathan and Donna Ford of Rayland.
The bride, escorted by her father to the bridge where their vows were exchanged, wore a crepe sheath gown featuring a tank bodice and fitted skirt with beaded illusion details at the side, back and along the train with pearl buttons down the back.
Her fingertip veil also was beaded illusion. She carried a bouquet consisting of daisies, miniature sunflowers, delphinium, lilies and hydrangea, designed and made by her mother. Her garter was handmade of satin and lace from her grandmother’s wedding gown.
Attendants to the couple were Dorothy Newbold, grandmother of the bride, and Donna Russell, grandmother of the groom.
The bride is a graduate of Buckeye Local High School and Eastern Gateway Community College and is employed as a pharmacy technician at Kroger Pharmacy.
The groom is a graduate of Buckeye Local High and Belmont Technical College and is employed at UTLX.
The couple reside in Glen Robbins, following a trip to Pigeon Forge, Tenn.
