Herman — Frankovitch

WEIRTON – Kelly Margaret Herman of Pittsburgh and Carl Anderson Frankovitch of Weirton were united in marriage during a Saturday ceremony at Sacred Heart Parish in Pittsburgh where the Rev. Gregory Pendergraft officiated.

The bride, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Bernard Herman Jr. of Pittsburgh, was escorted to the altar by her father and wore an ivory satin ball gown with a sweetheart bodice overlaid in crystal beading.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Eric Frankovitch of Weirton.

Taylor Greco of Pittsburgh, cousin of the bride, served as maid of honor, and Lauren Kopicko of Pittsburgh, cousin of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jamie Frankovtich of Thornburg, Pa., sister-in-law of the groom; Kate Geis of Pittsburgh; Sara Herman of Pittsburgh, the bride’s cousin; Kayla Larry of Greensburg, Pa.; Emily McGill of New York, N.Y., the bride’s cousin; and Courtney Schroeder of Chicago.

Leah Kopicko of Pittsburgh, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl.

The groom’s brothers – Mark Frankovitch of Pittsburgh, Taylor Frankovitch of Thornburg, Pa., and John Frankovitch of Weirton – served as their brother’s best men. Groomsmen were Jack Crow of Weirton; Zachary Cooper of Weston, W.Va.; Travis Dunn of Pittsburgh; Ben Herman of Pittsburgh, brother of the bride; and Jon Herpy of Chicago.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Pittsburgh Athletic Association in Pittsburgh. The couple will take a honeymoon trip to Spain.

The bride graduated from Washington & Jefferson College and received her master’s degree in business administration from Point Park University. She is employed at ADP as a sales executive.

The groom graduated from Weir High School in 2005. He received his bachelor of arts degree from Washington & Jefferson College and his juris doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh. He is an attorney for Frankovitch, Anetakis, Colantonio and Simon in Weirton.
