WEIRTON — Hannah Carnes of Weirton, and Thomas Paronish of Morgantown have announced their engagement and approaching marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Donna Carnes and the late Paul Carnes of Weirton. She is a graduate of West Liberty University with a degree in English and of Duquesne University with a certificate in paralegal studies. She is employed by Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith.

Her fiance is the son of Thomas and Denise Paronish of Northern Cambria, Pa. He is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a degree in geosciences with a master’s in geology from West Virginia University and is employed by NETL.

A fall wedding is planned.
