STEUBENVILLE -- Rick and Joy Spring of Steubenville announce the engagement of their daughter, Kalie Spring, to Matthew Smarrella, the son of Charles and Karen Petrosky of Steubenville.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Edison High School and a graduate of Trinity School of Nursing. She is a registered nurse at Trinity West in the Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab.
Her fiance is a graduate of Indian Creek High School and a graduate of the Ohio Police Academy. He is a police officer for the city of Steubenville, where he has served for the last 17 years.
The couple will be married June 23 in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
