MINGO JUNCTION -- Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Dellatorre of Mingo Junction announce the engagement of their daughter, Erika Lynn, to Matthew James Karl, son of David and Dianne Karl of Warren, Ohio.
The bride-to-be graduated from Catholic Central High School and received a bachelor's of science degree in biology from John Carroll University. She is employed as vice president of marketing for Phenom Ventures.
Her fiance is a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School and received a bachelor's of science degree in accountancy and a master of science degree in business from Loyola University-Chicago. He is manager of accounting for Hightower in Chicago.
The couple will exchange vows Sept. 3 at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Pittsburgh.
