BLOOMINGDALE – Jeffrey and Marilyn Roush of Bloomingdale announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Elizabeth, to Brett Schmied, son of Rick and Lorraine Schmied of Wintersville.
The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Indian Creek High School and a 2010 graduate of Ohio State University with a bachelor of science degree in fashion and retail studies. She is employed by DSW Inc. as an associate buyer at its corporate office in Columbus.
Schmied is a 2002 graduate of Indian Creek High School and a 2006 graduate of Muskingum University with a bachelor of arts degree in speech communication. He received a juris doctorate from Ohio Northern University in 2009. He is employed by AEP Transmission as a project outreach specialist.
A September wedding is planned in Columbus.
