WEIRTON — Stanley and Sara (Senker) Kaczmarek celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary Sept. 27.

The couple was wed Sept. 27, 1969, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Weirton.

The Rev. Joseph Altmeyer officiated the double-ring ceremony.

Parents of the couple are the late Stanley and Stella Morris Kaczmarek and the late Michael and Dorothy Ralich Senker, all of Weirton.

Stanley and Sara are 1964 graduates of Madonna High School.

They both retired from Weirton Medical Center where he worked in the radiology department and she worked as a nurse anesthetist.

The Kaczmareks are the parents of two children: Michael (Linda) Kaczmarek of Weirton and Darla (David) Osaba of Steubenville. Sara is grammie and Stanley, judju, to three grandsons: Justin, Evan and Dylan. The couple was surprised with an anniversary party hosted by their children.
