Mr. and Mrs. Jeffery Buxton of Bergholz are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary July 22.

Buxton and the former Nancy Drabick were married July 16, 1983.

He is the son of the late Frances Buxton and Margaret Buxton of Bergholz. He opened his own business and has been the owner of Jeffro’s Pizza in Bergholz for more than 35 years. In addition to running Jeffro’s Pizza, he has worked at Denoon Lumber since high school.

She is the daughter of Daniel and Mary Jane Drabick of Amsterdam. She worked in the home, as well as the couple’s business. The two met when she was still in high school.

They have three grandchildren.
