MINGO JUNCTION — Mr. and Mrs. Robert Burtnett of Mingo Junction are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

Burtnett and the former Diana Rossiter were married on Dec. 16, 1972, at the Rix Mills Presbyterian Church in Rix Mills, Ohio, by the late Rev. Franklin Love.

He is the son of the late James Franklin and Florence Burtnett. He worked at the Ohio Power Co. in Philo, Ohio, and retired from AEP Cardinal Plant in Brilliant after 30 years of service. He also retired from K-Mart in Steubenville. He is an Army veteran.

She is the daughter of Wanda Hostutler of Rix Mills and the late Charles Rossiter. She retired from K-Mart in Steubenville.

The couple are members of Rosemont Chapel.

They renewed their vows on Oct. 16.
