MINGO JUNCTION — Mr. and Mrs. William Schmitt of Mingo Junction will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary on Monday.

Schmitt and the former Diann Perrino were married on Oct. 17, 1992, at Mingo First United Methodist Church by the Rev. Tom Thomas and then later married on March 25, 2018, at Triumph of the Cross, Holy Rosary, by the Rev. Thomas Nau.

He is the son of the late Emil and Mary Alice Schmitt. Schmitt is employed at Kanawha Scales and Systems as assistant technical manager.

She is the daughter of Yong Sue Perrino and the late Frank A. Perrino and is employed at Franciscan University of Steubenville as an instructor of the graduate nursing program. They are parents to Todd of Gibsonton, Fla.; Lea of Berea, Ohio; William II of Gibsonton, Fla,; and Hallie, stationed at the Marine Corps Base in Camp Pendelton, Calif.
