NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio — Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Jasper of North Ridgeville, Ohio, formerly of Mingo Junction, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 25 with a wedding anniversary blessing given to the couple by the Rev. James Dunfee during the 4 p.m. Mass at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Mingo Junction.

A family dinner was held afterward at Pastaio in Wintersville.

Jasper and the former Judy DiFabbio were married on June 24, 1972, at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Mingo Junction.

She is the daughter of the late John and Pauline DiFabbio and was a homemaker who watched Jordan and Jenn Fabian, who became extended family.

He is the son of the late Thomas and Miriam Jasper and is retired from Arcelor Mittal.

They are the parents of two children, John Japes and Paula (Chris) Schloss, both of North Ridgeville. They took their parents on a vacation to Garden City, s.C., as an anniversary gift.
