STEUBENVILLE — Mr. and Mrs. George Livingston of Steubenville will be celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary on July 28.

Livingston and the former Lois J. Risdon were united in marriage on July 28, 1951, by the Rev. J. Lloyd McQueen at Finley United Methodist Church in Steubenville.

The son of the late George and Martha Kerr Livingston, he was an employee of the Herald-Star pressroom for 37 years before his retirement in January 1991. He is a veteran of the Korean War.

She is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alfred E. Risdon and was an employee of Ohio Bell in Steubenville.

They are members of Wintersville United Methodist Church.

They have two sons, Randy and Greg, both of Columbus. They have five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
