STEUBENVILLE — Mr. and Mrs. Ed (Adrian) Hershey of Steubenville recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Hershey and the former Susan Granatir were married on July 10, 1971, at Blessed Sacrament Church in Wintersville where the late Rev. Charles Sargus officiated.

He is serving as Jefferson County Domestic Relations Magistrate after 40 years of private practice, and she is the retired president of the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce.

They are the parents of two children, John of Newtown Square, Pa., and Brian Hershey of Cincinnati.

They have twin grandchildren.

The couple celebrated with immediate family and were honored at a formal dinner hosted by their children.
